Karen Alvarado is a theater artist from Texas with Latina and indigenous ancestry.

Alvarado is the Co-Artistic Director of Thinkery & Verse and works as an actress, director, producer, and university instructor. She received her MFA in acting from Rutgers University and is dedicated to creating art in New Brunswick.
