Natalie Romeo-Marx is a Colombian-American media and performance artist, filmmaker, cultural producer, and educator based in New Jersey. Her work investigates time, memory, and landscape art using an Afro-diasporic and Indigenous cosmological frame.

She uses ecofeminism and decolonial methodologies in her artistic and educational practice, evoking questions as catalysts of emerging ancestral histories. She is interested in gestures of extended cognition, counter-archiving, the liquidity of languages, ecological patterns, the movement of the cosmos, and the universe’s sounds.
