In “Stories del Sacrificio,” we embodied themes of hope, struggle, and the epitome of sacrifice to achieve dreams at every stage of their journey.
Attending a dialogue session and researching archived materials exposed the prominence of larger themes within the stories emphasizing a community’s strength. The dance film opens with expressions of individual ambitions created using words from dialogues. The journey progressed to unveil challenges that spiral into their paths as they strive to provide and thrive.
The most impact from the dialogues was the consistency of strength gathered from families and support highlighting their resilience and commitment to succeeding.
