Save the date! Over the course of three days, NJMML will feature artist talks and programs with the three monument installation artists, Immanuel Oni, Michelle Angela Ortiz, and Chat Travieso, about their completed works. Community artists will give live performances of their work. The NJMML project team will host workshops with community stakeholders aimed at sustaining the spirit of this work, and magnifying its impact.

NJ Monuments To Migration And Labor is a three-year initiative honoring immigrants’ contributions to the state. Through public events, and monument installations, it celebrates their resilience, hard work, and cultural impact, blending art, history, and storytelling to inspire reflection and appreciation.
