About this Event

Join us for the second community workshop as we move from mapping legacy to shaping the next phase of our South Jersey regional monument. Building on our first event’s legacy mapping and flag-making, Oni will share several early mobile monument concepts developed from the stories, values, and insights so far.

Participants will have the opportunity to offer feedback on which direction best aligns with our shared goals through verbal dialogue, written text, sketches, or physical modeling. We will also consider practical needs such as program activation, feasibility, and long-term stewardship.

Through group dialogue, we’ll ask: How can this monument work for South Jersey? What role could a traveling installation play in addressing regional challenges—economic challenges, transportation issues, environmental change, cultural exchange, and collective ritual? Together, we’ll explore concepts of mobile monuments that reflect what our communities want to carry forward.

All ages and experience are welcome.
