Encompassing installation, painting, and works on paper, Chung-Fan Chang’s work attempts to reconcile her experience of displacement, beauty and her Chinese/Taiwanese heritage through the meditative process of scribbling and investigating irregular neon geometry in abstract landscape. Chang received the 2022 Individual Artist Fellowship from New Jersey State Council and was the 2013-14 Visual Arts Fellow of the Mississippi Arts Commission, and was nominated for the 2019 Foundations in Art: Theory and Education Emerging Educator Award.
