Diana Diaz Tapia is a passionate community advocate and leader in the vibrant city of New Brunswick, NJ.

Diana’s journey began in the heart of New Brunswick where she attended local public schools and Middlesex College before earning a Bachelor of Science in Public and Nonprofit Administration at Rutgers University-Newark. Her unwavering drive to uplift her community led her to New Brunswick Tomorrow (NBT), where she spearheads a wide range of human service initiatives to address pressing issues in the city. With a special focus on providing essential support to low- to moderate-income, first-time home buyers, Diana has been instrumental in connecting residents with housing services to secure safe, affordable, and stable homes. Her dedication to NBT’s mission of Moving People Forward has been unwavering since she joined in January 2019, and she is committed to continuing her impactful work.

Diana draws daily inspiration from her parents and family members. In her leisure time, she finds joy in running, hiking, and capturing stunning portraits and breathtaking landscapes through her photography.
