Estrellita Matheu Roca

Estrellita Matheu Roca, Graphic Designer, NJMML

Estrellita Matheu Roca, a graphic designer whose artistic practice explores the intersection of cultural identity, memory, and storytelling.

As an immigrant from Guatemala now based in Newark, New Jersey, she uses design as a tool to celebrate and elevate her heritage. Color, in particular, serves as a powerful conduit for emotional and cultural connection in her work. She dissects and reimagines traditional visual elements to create a dialogue between her roots and contemporary expression.

About NJMML
