Tim Raphael is Professor of Arts, Culture and Media at Rutgers University-Newark, the founding director of the Rutgers Center for Migration and the Global City, an incubator for multidisciplinary scholarship and civic engagement, and the co-director of Newest Americans, a multimedia documentary and storytelling project on migration and identity.
