Separate Dreams

Separate Dreams grew out of community dialogues in New Brunswick, where food, laughter, and hard truths revealed the gap between daily struggle and lifelong hopes.

The three tracks follow one night: “Su biografía” celebrates 7-word biographies shared over a hot meal. “El precio” follows a child waiting for their mother after a long shift, voiced by Quen Marcillo. “Sueños separados” drifts through a day laborer’s dream of home in the moments before morning work calls. Together, I hope these songs create a sonic snapshot of resilience, dignity, and the fragile hope that labor can transform sacrifice into lasting promise.
